Herbal Tea Blend

One of our favourite daily herbal tea blends, a fortifying and nourishing blend of Nettle, Gotu Kola, Cleavers, Milk Thistle & Liquorice.

^{Ingredients: Nettle (Urtica dioica), Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica), Cleavers (Galium aparine), Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum), Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra).}

As a general guide for most herbs, use one to two teaspoons of dried herb or mixture of herbs to a cupful of water. Place the herb in a cup, pour on boiling water and leave to steep for ten minutes before straining.

Roots, barks and seeds may need to be decocted (simmer gently for 20-30 minutes).
