Viridian’s 100% Organic Omega 3:6:9 oil is a highly nutritious oil designed for everyday use. This balance of vegan-friendly omega 3, omega 6, and omega 9 fatty acids come from 100% plant-based ingredients in a pleasant-tasting oil.

Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids are essential fatty acids, meaning they cannot be produced by the body but instead must come from diet or supplementation. This oil combines omega 3 in the form of alpha linolenic acid (ALA) which contributes towards the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels, with omega 6 gamma linolenic acid (GLA) and a small amount of omega 9. The natural ingredients provide a broad range of nutrients including vitamin E (full spectrum of tocopherols and tocotrienols) and carotenoids (alpha-carotene, beta carotene and lutein). Vitamin E has a role in the protection of cells from oxidative stress. This ‘oxidative stress’ appears to be a major factor in many human diseases.

Cold-pressed and bottled in amber glass bottles under a blanket of nitrogen to protect the oil from air and light. Grown to Soil Association organic standards.
