Habitat: Star of Bethlehem grows in open grassland on drier soils. Star of Bethlehem is not uncommon but is most likely to be found in the south and east of England. Old flower books speak of it as being an introduced species to be found in cottage gardens, though if it is not a native species it has generally naturalised.
